Larry The Cable Guy Tour: Redneck Woman rides a Trike on a country road

Tuesday, May 22nd, 2012

Redneck is a historically derogatory slang term used in reference to poor, uneducated white farmers, especially from the southern United States.[1][2] It is similar in meaning to cracker (especially regarding Georgia and Alabama), hillbilly (especially regarding Appalachia and the Ozarks),[3] and white trash (but without the last term’s suggestions of immorality).[4][5][6] A woman (/ˈwʊmən/), pl: women (/ˈwɪmɨn/) is a female human. The term woman is usually reserved for an adult, with the term girl being the usual term for a female child or adolescent. However, the term woman is also sometimes used to identify a female human, regardless of age, as in phrases such as “Women’s rights”. In recent decades, the term has expanded its meaning to refer to bigoted, loutish reactionaries who are opposed to modern ways,[7] and has often been used to attack Southern conservatives and racists.[8] At the same time, some Southern whites have reclaimed the word, using it with pride and defiance as a self-identifier. The Grand Ole Opry and Hee Haw are popular entertainments from years past, and they, as well as entertainers Hank Williams, Grandpa Jones and Jerry Clower, have seen lasting popularity within the redneck community. Entertainers like Minnie Pearl used homespun comedy as much as music to create a lasting persona, and musicians like Earl Scruggs and Lester Flatt appeared on shows such as The Beverly Hillbillies, lending credence to broad humor about uncomplicated rural Americans

REDNECK TENDENCIES I’ve got redneck tendencies That sometimes get the best of me I’ve been known to get real loud then pull my pants straight to the ground I’ve broken bottles over heads sometimes I’ve paid for what I’ve said Never a dull moment can’t think of one even when I threw up blood The only times that I regret are the times that I forget I’ve broken bottles over heads sometimes I’ve paid for what I’ve said I’ve got redneck tendences That sometimes get the best of me I’m hold’n my liver hostage Which makes my brain feel noshish From doing stupid things Meet a girl who drank like that She did a keg stand for a minute and a half Got down and funneled a beer Then gave me a lap dance on my chair I’ve broken bottles over heads Sometimes I’ve paid for what I’ve said 4 brothers 2 in the marines Dad likes vodaka the oldest Jim Beam Guess that explains all that She keep the family tradition in tact I’ve broken bottles over heads Sometimes I’ve paid for what I’ve said I’ve got redneck tendences That sometimes get the best of me I’m hold’n my liver hostage Which makes my brain feel noshish From doing stupid things I like hillbilly horion Slap a dip in Shoot off guns Start a fire Go to jail Then kiss my cousin Shorel Got the pickup truck in the back Next to the meth lab In the shack All my dogs have run away Which happens almost every day Grab a quart and hit the road We’ll have them down before the store Grab a
